Spiral Energy

In the beginning of creating the Cynthia Catera Collection, I was reading The Spark in the Machine, by Dr. Daniel Keown M.B. Ch.B, Lic Ac. The book explains the mysteries of Acupuncture and how we are all created and embody energy (Qi). An incredible dissertation, he begins in the womb and articulates the formation our organs unfolding onto one another, a spiral energy, a ying and yang… the most primal of all energies. We consistently observe spiral energy everyday throughout nature: The Fibonacci sequence, ferns, shells, whirlpools, and DNA. Both the greatest and smallest creations of this world mirror this same sequence.

He states, “ The spiral is so powerful a force becuase it represents two forces with a perfect mismatch; two forces that cannot quite get on, so they move against each other with mathematical exactitude.”
